On a side note: Been getting rid of a lot of unnecessary items, you begin to realize most of what you own is an over abundance/unnecessary.

I've never been happier. Slough off the excess. Materialism is overrated.

anyways, i finally took the time to pick out a cute outfit instead of running shorts and a tee.. so i thought i'd document my apparel for today... maybe i'll do a trendy tuesday post with this outfit... it just is so appropriate for this weather! EEk. Summmer is so here.

im lounging, studying, and awaiting for my boy toy to get home so we can run some errands.

Nick and I experienced their famous Juicy Lucy burger, except we had ours with pepper jack cheese, topped with roast beef and mooore cheese.

Afternoon Frollicking

When Nick got off work we headed downtown in search for the famous "Carroll's Cup"..

We walked through Annenburg Plaza and made our way down to the subway.... not before i ran in front of taxis and spun around sign poles first.

It was the kind of weather and the kind of moment that you wish would just last forever.

Something about a skyline, big buildings,... and having a cute photographer still in his business clothes take pictures of me makes me so happy!

Wearing a comfy maxi dress, with a bandeou underneath.... you don't need much jewelery with this outfit. So i went with my 2 favorite pieces. 1. my wedding ring 2. blue bracelet gifted by Jill

Alas! We found Carroll's Cup! And it twas divine.

We have my brothers graduation tomorrow, as well as a wedding, and then a graduation dinner with my extended family on Sunday- it shall be a busy weekend.

When will I ever find time to study for my RN Boards? -_- eeeeek

I received my first Birchbox, Nick got me a subscription for my birthday.

How perfect, my first one was inspired by Gossip Girl!

The anticipation of what was inside was so exciting.

It could be a possibility of perfumes, make up, skin care, accessories, nail polish, etc. They are sample sizes of the name brand things, and if you enjoy the product you can go on their website and buy the full size item.

Lately

I had a nice relaxing break from blogging, sometimes you just need to enjoy doing nothing.

Which is exactly what I did. Well, not really nothing-- between moving, pinning ceremony, graduation, my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary, starting to study for my boards, and mothers day.... I've been pretty busy.

Nick is starting his job tomorrow, and i will begin my review courses. The next 3 weeks for me will be studying.

So, this little corner of the internet I like to call my blog, will be pretty dry.

Don't forget to tell your mom how much you love her, and how much you appreciate her.

I know I am blessed to have such a wonderful mum.
