This weeks dessert was. . . .
We made this for our NYE party, but thought we would try them again with a few changes.
We made them in smaller bites so you can just pop them in your mouth.
They are super easy to make. All you need is
-frozen bread roll (we used Rhodes Rolls)
-cinnamon/sugar
-butter
Let bread thaw, and rise a little. Cut into small pieces, drop pieces into boiling water for 30 seconds. Pat dry, put in oven at 375 for 15 min or until golden brown. Roll in butter, then roll in toppings. You can also due parmesan garlic. But we prefer a sweet version.
Give em' a try!

7/52: Girl Scout Cookies
This week Nick was out of town a few days for a business trip.
I have been under the weather.
So we ordered some delicious girl scout cookies from one of my co-workers as our dessert this week.
Tagalongs
Thin Mints
Savannah Smiles
Its so hard to decide which ones to get, they are all so good!
Which girl scout cookie is your favorite?

6/52: Lemon Poppy Muffins
This week Nick picked out the dessert. We finally finished all our puppy chow! So we can't be in the house without a dessert for more than a day.
We enjoyed these as they were warm and melty and coming out of the oven.
Happy Monday!
Only 10 days left of February, in my mind Spring is just around the corner (even though the high on Wednesday is 11 degrees)

5/52 : Puppy Chow
I have to be honest. . . i didn't make this dessert, my mother in-law gave us two whole buckets full.
And I technically had this dessert for last weeks dessert but was so busy i did not have time to post about it.
With just me and nick in the apartment we can never eat all the food we make for meals. Let alone have 2 desserts in a week.
It is crunchy, sweet, and oh so hard to only have a few pieces.

Best box cake i've ever made. You can purchase this delicious treat at Trader Joe's

Nick made this wonderful cake, and he did a fantastic job! We haven't even put any frosting on it, that's how good it is.

3/52 : 3 Ingredient Ice Cream
-2 cups heavy whipping cream
-1 can of sweet condensed milk
-1 tbsp of vanilla extract
mix together until batter thickens/stiffens
put into bread pan and freeze for at least 8 hours. And enjoy!
This recipe is very sweet, we enjoyed it, but it is not something you can have a lot of because it is so rich.
We've been very busy around here, dinner dates with new friends, game night, our car got hit in the middle of the night and no one left a note, house hunting etc.
Let me know if any of you have been brave enough to try any of the desserts I have shared on here.
Stay warm out there friends.
