Ear Love

Lately the colored or print jeans have been "trending", as well as ring to wrist jewlery.

Well look whats next. And something that i love, want, and need.

Ear fashion is coming about. Dangling ear cuffs are my new obsession, however not many stores have implemented them into their inventory yet, but keep your eyes peeled. If anyone knows where to get something similar for a reasonable price please comment below or tweet me {miss_marriss)and let me know.

 I have found some that i ah-dore. but are out of my price range. Just thought I would get you all clued in, on what is to come in the fashion accessory world.

Pine Trees

Living in the midwest has it perks.

Peace & Quiet. Serenity. Pine trees.
I love the pine trees. They are so tall, and probably have more wisdom than a willow tree. They stand so tall and confident. Hope I can act as a "pine tree" in my interview tomorrow. However, I won't do the Chris Farley and rub a pine tree air freshner all over my body before the interview. Or maybe I will?.. hmm
Maybe its just this warm winter that we are having that is making me have a positive outlook.

Just enjoying my final months of school.

Off to a meeting, and then its the weekend for me. Stay cute, stay warm.

Bridesmaid's

So Saturday we went bridesmaid dress shopping.

It is so hard for me not to posts pictures of the dresses we decided on! Lets just say they are very "coture, high fashion, chic" or in my mothers words "Effing New York" Had the best day with these women. I have the prettiest, sassy, most fun bridal party ever.

For Valentines day, Nick came to visit me. He is so cute. He was dressed up and brought heart shaped ravioli and made homemade PINK alfredo sauce, as well as a big chocolate cake with little red heart confetti on it. We cooked together. Enjoyed our meal, talked, and at one point I laughed so hard during dinner I almost spit out my wine. Afterwards, I had to go to the hospital and do preparation for my patient who I was assigned to for the following day. I was so excited, I was assigned in the nursery. Anyways, Nick being the sweet heart that he is, came with me and chilled out in the family waiting room and did some of his homework. We finished season 1 of Prison Break and went to sleep early since I had to be up at 5 am for clinicals the next day. Oh and he got me pink skinny jeans that I have been wanting for like 2 months. I got him cologne. It was the perfect valentines day. Simple, being together, filled with laughter, love, and great food. Hope you all told the ones you loved how you felt. Life is too short, and Valentine's Day is a perfect day to celebrate the love we have for friends, family, significant other, or maybe a furry friend :)

Nick's Birthday!

Nick's birthday was on the 12th. My boy is 22 years old. I got him a robe and a case of diet root beer. Haha, he loved it! {at least he said he did}

^^ i am so madly in love with this guy. It is that once in a life time crazy, extrodinary, passionate love. Our relationship is so solid and built around mutual respect and honesty and love. I just can't even put into words. I have been listening to Christiana Perri's song "Arms" and a lyric that I love that sums up my feelings about Nick is "You put your arms around me, and im home" A hug from him is the best thing in the world. Anyways for his birthday we went and saw Timeflies in Minneapolis.

We stayed at an amazing hotel downtown, before hand me, Nick, and his dad went out for pre-dinner cocktails. Afterwards we ate at Manny's Steakhouse---- 0_o oh my gawwwwd was it good. My new favorite restaurant. I love the cities, I can't wait to live downtown someday.

Wedding Party v. [maf]

To conclude the ladies side of my wedding party ~saved the best for last ::wink::

Miss Mattilyn was my roomate freshman year of college.

We came into it not knowing each other, and quite frankly not getting along very well. At one point she left dirty dishes on my pillow in my bed. [good thing i forgave her]

Over the past 4 years Mattie has become a true and dear friend to me. She is constantly making everyone else feel good about themselves, but never saves any of those compliments for herself.

A few facts about Mattie:
-she is obsessed with her two fat kitty's
-she has 2 closets full to the brim of clothes
-she is a photographer
-she has 1 tattoo
-she is going to be a registered nurse soon!
-she never gives herself enough credit

Mattie is in most of my best memories through out my college career. She is such a dedicated friend, always willing to help me with whatever. She knows exactly what to say to cheer me up.

She's been with me through my homesick first few months of college, to my "wild" phase, to my self-loathing venting sessions, and most importantly supporting Nick and I from the beginning.

Let's just say from a questionable beginning, came a lifelong friendship. It has been hard me being in a city an hour from our original school, but Mattie and I have stayed just as close as ever.

She's the hottest beeetch i know. So blessed to have her as my best friend.

So folks, there you have it. My 4 favorite girls. Ironically enough this weekend we are bridesmaid dress shopping! And I absolutely cannot wait!!

Business Man

Our futures are coming at us in high speed. And there is no slowing it down.

Today Nick had his 2nd round interview at a wonderful company in the city where we want to start our careers.

He stopped by my place before his interview so we could spend some time together and realize what a monumental moment this is for both of us. The point has come where decisions we make, truly and directly impact our lives.

Not only is Nick pursuing his career, I got offered an interview on a Surgical Women's Health floor at a wonderful hospital in the same city as Nick. My interview isn't for 2 weeks yet.

However, I feel that even though we haven't taken our vows yet and aren't "married" we are a partnership. And we support each other through the good and the bad. And we build each other up. Even if these interviews is as far as we get with a specific job oppurtunity we will take it as a learning experience and pick one another up when we feel disappointed in ourselves.

Nick is teaching me to be more confident in myself. Something about his "Business Man" attitude attracts me to him so much.

Anyways less than 3 months until graduation. And yesterday I registered for my Nursing Board Exam.

I feel like I am jumping into the "real" world head first, and I can't look back.
